There will be a Congregational meeting this Sunday immediately following worship. The purpose of the meeting is to hear the report of the Nominating Committee.

The annual Christmas Angel Tree will be up and ready this Sunday. Please make sure you visit the Academy Building to take an ornament from the tree. This year all the ornaments will be handmade ceramic pieces by the children and youth of Pisgah and you get to keep your ornament! Gifts are due back to the church by December 6th.

Our next Hope Lodge Dinner is Monday, November 18 at 6:00p.m. We will be preparing and serving a meal to the residents of Hope Lodge (cancer patients and their caregivers). If you would like to help prepare or serve part of this meal contact Lynn Davis at 859-873-4161.

The funeral for Bryce McGowan will be held on Saturday, November 23 at 11a.m. here at Pisgah.

Dedication Sunday is November 24.  Plan on bringing your pledge card with you to church that morning (if you haven’t already mailed it) as we will be dedicating them during the service. We have extra Stewardship packets in the narthex if you would like to pick one up.

Pisgah’s Annual Thanksgiving Meal is next Sunday, November 24!  Mary Shepherd Circle will host the dinner in the Academy Building. Please bring your family and a large side dish or dessert to share. Turkey, gravy, bread and drinks are provided. You may bring your dish to the kitchen that morning before church. There will be helpers there to receive food.

Nativity Set Auction! You might remember the SouperBOWL fundraiser last year, where our children and youth hosted a live auction to raise money for events throughout the year. The funds raised helped Pisgah children and youth be able to have events through the year free of charge. The time has come for another Live Auction. This year students have worked very hard on Handcrafted Ceramic Nativity Sets. Pictures will be emailed out next week. Please stick around after the Pisgah Thanksgiving meal and join us for a Live Auction to support the youth and children. You might be lucky and take home an amazing Nativity Set as well! Our auctioneer will be Tom Biederman.
