Jud’s Beard…
As you can see, Jud’s beard is coming in nicely!
For those of you new to the Beards for Buds program: This is a campaign to raise awareness and donations specifically for men dealing with cancer! So, a bunch of us here at Pisgah, as well as our friends at Maxwell Street Presbyterian in Lexington are growing beards.
The smile on his face is infectious and inspirational, even as he is in the hospital for more tests, PT, and general poking and prodding. Keep Jud, and Lynn, in your prayers this week!

My beard (really just scruffiness) has precipitated quite a few discussions on the topic of men’s cancer since the start. This week I am in DC seeing several new clients. Rising early this morning and feeling a bit unruly looking in the mirror, I wanted to shave it all off this morning. I then realized those with cancer want to rid of their battle in their feeling unruly. I put the razor down. I will stick this out for Jud, Tavner and all those wrestling with cancer.
